BEIJING - DAY 1

We have had our first day in Beijing! After arriving at 6am we had a hair raising trip into the city and were able to check in immediately.
Next stop was the Temple of Heaven. After strolling through acres of gardens and enjoying the peace of the park it was shopping time at the Pearl Markets.
Some serious bargaining resulted in an amazing array of purchases!
Tonight we're off to see Chinese acrobats perform!
The feet are sore and we're weary, but everything is running to plan at the moment.
