MUNICH TO FRANKFURT

Our final day on the bus today! We have travelled approximately 6000km in the past two weeks.
From Munich we drove through the countryside, passing through tiny villages along the Romantic Road.
The first stop was at the medieval village of Nordlingen. Here we wandered through the cobbled streets. It was a quaint little village and was very busy as it was a festival day. We saw a band playing in the street and mingled with the locals buying their fruit and veg at the markets.
The lunch stop was further north at Rothenburg. Many tourists were enjoying the gorgeous little shops, cafes and 16th century houses along the cobbled streets. It was like something out of a fairy tale!
We heard several Australian accents as we wandered around!
The Frankfurt hotel is not in the centre of the city, so our walk around the area took us to fields of turnips and a herd of cows!
The final tour dinner was followed by farewells and goodbyes as everyone is leaving at different times. Our airport transfer is at 5.30am!
